La Romita was one of the first towns to be settled in New Spain, and today holds significant historical weight within Mexico City. It is located in what is now one of the most visited neighborhoods, with bustling activity both day and night: Roma Norte. Housing is in high demand in one of the largest and most important metropolises in the world. The concept arose from the intention of establishing a close relationship between the project and the existing plaza in "La Romita." The project is immersed in a space surrounded by vegetation and seating areas — a portion of the plaza was taken and incorporated into the project, creating a commercial space and redesigning the main plaza as the central part of the project.
